In this workshop session, we will unlock the alchemical and intuitive process of extracting pigments from seasonal wild plants, food waste and plant extracts crafting your own dyed textile piece to take home.
This can be tailored to your level of natural dye knowledge. No prior experience is necessary.
Beginners welcome!
This is a great opportunity to bring an intention for your project - or you can show up with no intention to simply learn a new alchemical skill.
You will receive:
Natural dye guidance for your skill level
Mindful harvesting and foraging for wild dyes and sourcing pigments and modifiers.
Bespoke dye recipes
Project-specific guidance from Gianna ( if applicable)
Digital Resource written by Gianna
In-person: Sessions are 1.5 hour long sessions held at the GCH Studio space
Virtual: Sessions are held on Zoom for 1 hour session.
